Contest: The Frank Kern Bus Giveaway

November 8th, 2011

Check out this video and see how Frank Kern gives his bus away in this contest.  Ever try and come up with some giveaways of your own? Here are some tips.  It’s very interesting how opinions have changed over the last few years in marketing about what your free giveaway should be. I don’t mean the format it should take (i.e report, e-book, newsletter etc), but what the topic should be and the type of people it should attract.

I know I’ve certainly changed my opinion.

For the last few years in my business, I’ve been giving away lots of free stuff to promote my business and you know what, it’s got results. I’ve attracted lots and lots of new contacts to my business and they’ve all been very happy to give me their contact details.

The theory then goes that once they’ve given you their contact details and therefore expressed interest in what you do, they should go onto buy from you, right?

Well no actually. Not necessarily.

The chances are actually much higher that they’ll grab your free giveaway with both hands and you’ll never hear from them again.

Now I’m not saying that offering a free giveaway is the wrong thing to do, but you must be very careful with what information you give away in order to attract the right people to your business.

If I offer 50 free ways to promote your business, who am I attracting with this information?

I’m attracting people who DON’T WANT to spend any money on marketing.

Is that who I want to attract? Well, no not really.

Who I want to attract are small business owners who want some help with their marketing AND who are willing to pay for someone to help them with it.

Could I change my free offering to attract these sorts of people? Absolutely. While I may not as many people signing up, they would be much more qualified and therefore much more likely to turn into clients.

While this doesn’t mean that I’m not going to give these people free information, what they do get will

a) much more tailored and personalised to them and

b) much more likely to result in sales.

So if you currently offer something free to your contacts in order to get them to sign up for something, make sure that what you’re offering appeals the right set of customers that you’re trying to attract. Something that attracts people looking for free help such as my 50 free ways to get more customers, is not going to do much for your business and you may be disappointed by the results.

Think carefully about your offer and make sure you’re attracting the right people to your business.  So check out this video and see how Frank Kern does his bus giveaway.

Bill Donates Frank Kern’s $100,000 To Charity

November 8th, 2011

In this video Bill donates Frank Kern‘s $100,000 to charity. When you hear that a person is going to donate to a charity, the first thought that crosses your mind is that he is going to give money to charity. Well, that is true but not entirely. This is because there are a lot of other ways to donate to charity. Monetary donation is the most popular way to donate to a charity. This can be done in the form of cash or a check.

Most nonprofit organizations have a website where donors can make an online donation. Donations through the website can be done through a credit card payment or via PayPal. This donation can be made at anytime of the day or night from any part of the world. You can donate to a charity from your hometown even if you are living on another part of the world. Donating online has the benefit of being very accessible.

The conventional way to donate to a charity is through fundraising activities. These activities are organized so that donors can donate to a charity that they choose. Fundraising activities can be done through a bake sale, a benefit concert, a garage sale, an auction and so many other activities. There are countless ways to create an event where people can donate to a charity. The proceeds of these events will be used to fund the various activities and projects of the charity.

Another way to donate to a charity is through your services. Charities have different kinds of projects where your services may be of use. If you are from the medical profession then you can volunteer your services if there are any medical missions or free clinics being conducted by the charity. There are countless ways to donate to a charity by doing volunteer work. A charity can use all the help they could get to help more people. All you have to do is choose a charity and volunteer your services. You can fit your volunteer work around your free time.

You can also donate to a charity by donating things that you do not need around your home. You all have clutter in your home. They are objects that you bought but never really used. Rather than letting them lie there unused, you can donate to a charity and put them to a good use. There are a lot of things that may be useless to you but those who are less fortunate will find them very useful.  So watch this video and see how Bill obtains this $100,000 from Frank Kern and afterwards it is donated to a charity.

Frank Kern: Boosting The Economy

November 7th, 2011

Watch this Frank Kern video and find out how you can boost the economy.  Many of our congressional leaders are running around trying to calm the public before wide-spread panic sets in. The recent scares on Wall Street and ominous predictions of economists have many people looking for the best way to protect their money.

What can be done about this failing economy? To the surprise of many, a lot.

Tortoise And The Hare

The old story about the tortoise and the hare can teach us much about how to get through a wavering economy. It’s true that the stock market has been anything but predictable, but that doesn’t mean everyone should cash out their money and run.

In fact, when the stock market experiences such great highs and lows from one day to the next, a sudden surge of liquidation can force the stock market to plummet for longer periods of time. The further the slump in the market, the harder it is for the economy to regain control.

Patience is key when it comes to stock market investing. In fact, the overall percentage of loss in the stock market following the S&P’s credit downgrade was minimal compared to the day to day gain and loss pattern. When people become panicked, they may quick decisions to liquidate their investments and buy up solid commodities such as gold. Despite the fact that gold maintains its value well over time, it certainly does nothing for the economy as whole.

All The Eggs In One Basket

When economic times are uncertain, the best strategy is to stay the course. The likelihood that anyone “loses everything” in the stock market has very little to do with variability in the market itself. Instead, losing everything is the result of a poorly planned investment portfolio. We have always heard not to put all of your eggs in one basket, and the same is true for investments. Having your money spread around many types of investments is the best way to fair a turbulent economy. Investing money in bonds, stocks, money market accounts, gold and keeping some in cash will prevent any investor from losing everything when one of these investments takes a dive.

Keep Your Head Up

Consumer confidence plays a large role in the health of the economy. Historically, each economic recession was preceded by a drop in consumer confidence. Negative attitudes about the economy result in less consumer spending and an increase in panic-stricken decisions that could backfire. Consumer spending is good when attitudes towards the economy are good, which pumps money into the economy and can lead to more jobs for the unemployed.

Christopher understands that financial hardships can affect honest, hard-working people. Growing up in a very blue collar family and rural area of Indiana, money didn’t always come easy for his parents. The struggles his family faced in his childhood made a significant impression on his business philosophy today.

Frank Kern And His Special Mom Laugh Together

November 7th, 2011

Watch this Frank Kern video where we meet his mom and she shares how they laugh together and why it’s important for everyone to do. There are so many whopping benefits to laughing every day that there is even an emerging field of human psychology called “humor therapy,” which helps people heal quickly and continue living an enjoyable life. I’ve compiled a list of six reasons why you need to laugh every day. After all, I like to say that I’ve never met anyone who does not like to laugh. Laughter just makes you feel good! Anyway, here’s why you should laugh daily:

1. Laughter is a workout in and of itself: It may not burn as many calories as running a mile every day, but hey-it’s a workout! I don’t know about you, but I’d rather let out a belly laugh than do sprints. From experience, I think laughter is way more enjoyable than sprints.

2. Laughter is contagious: So is the flu. However, it’s wayyy more optimal to have laughter going around the office than it is a virus. Ick. Plus, there’s always one person in your office who has the funniest-sounding laugh. Whenever they laugh, you have to laugh by default because they sound so ridiculous.

3. It’s socially acceptable to cry (sometimes): Ok, this one may be directed more towards dudes, but it’s much less embarrassing to be seen crying laughing than to be seen just plain crying. Also, did you know that tears from laughter are chemically different than tears of sadness?

4. You look cool if you make a funny joke: Ever have a one-liner that had everyone in your group in stitches? Me neither, but I’m working on it;) I bet it’s a great feeling to make someone laugh.

5. Laughter brings people together: There’s nothing quite like sharing a laugh with somebody. It creates lasting memories and is enjoyable in the present.

6. Because Stone, Cold, Said so!: Ok, this isn’t a real reason, but does anyone remember Stone Cold Steve Austin? Oh, the days of wrestling…

So it isn’t important why I chose six reasons to laugh every day, but it is important that you should laugh as much as you can. Choose your own reasons to laugh. As the saying goes, “Life is too important to be taken seriously.” Being serious all the time sucks. You have to enjoy life. If you’re not laughing, then you’re not living!  So watch this Frank Kern video showing his special mom and how they laugh together.
